Jr. Eco-Explorer's Camp

The earth is full of God’s “riches and creatures.” Come and explore Gods wonderful creation in this exciting camp. Plants and critters “many and varied” are hiding in plain sight – if you know where to look! Using all their senses, Eco-Explorers will explore the natural world, look under rocks, learn to identify animal tracks, taste the flavors that native plants have to offer, and challenge themselves to live ‘more greenly.’ Campers are sure to go home with a renewed love and respect for God’s amazing creation through this camp.

Stronghold’s
day camp
experience

camp. Camps
start on
Monday at
9 a.m. with
a full schedule
of Bible
stories,
arts and
crafts,
pool time,
games and
walks in
the woods.
Pick up
time is
4 p.m. Thursday
night is
an optional
overnight
in our cabins
in the woods
with campfire
activities
included.

be

a try. First
Timers stay
in family
groups for
a half-week
(3 nights),
living in Summer Cabins for
one night,
cabin campsites
for one
night, and
tents for
a night
with two
counselors.
It's
a great
chance to
experience
different
ways to
enjoy camping
at Stronghold.
We understand
the importance
of caring
for this
special
group of
campers,
so more
time is
spent in
small groups,
taking time
to listen
and answer
questions.
